For a weekly project, we were asked to create a taxi wrap that will add to humour to peoples lives. Now I have a unique sense of humour and what I find funny, most people don't haha..some call me simple..I love penguins so I decided to integrate them into the taxi wrap. Most people find them amusing and to emphasise this, I made them in a cartoon style on Illustrator.
I did this a year ago, I created it because I wanted something to remind me that I may not be top of the top but what I create or produce is still good. I think it's an important thing to have being in the design business to keep your motivation up when things might slip.
It was meant to be a sunny day in June - but I live in England so let's face it, there wasn't going to be sunshine! Thought I would take this photo as I liked the way the sand was on the football and the way it was positioned - it was asking to be photographed if you ask me.
A few weeks ago, I suddenly went into in a creative mood and decided to open Photoshop and just see what happens really! I ended up producing this. It was done with a graphic tablet (Bamboo).
We were asked to produce a "manifesto" of anything we wanted to. I came up with the idea of smashing up an alarm clock because I feel that people worry about time too much and that you should just live as best you can and do things in your own time. It's also a pressure point too, the pressure of being somewhere on time or sitting an examination, based on how much time you've got. I also just generally hate alarm clocks when they wake you when you're so relaxed and in a deep sleep..I just want to "smash" it.. :)

A few things I've done recently in my spare time. I want to integrate this style into my university work as it's my favourite way to work :)
Earlier this year at uni, we were asked to design a bag which would be sold at the library for the library. It had to have a connection with books. Luckily, out of around 20 designs, mine was chosen.
They have been produced for the beginning of this academic year and have sold very well - which has made me more proud of myself as well as a bit uncomfortable as I'm not used to being recognised for my academic abilities. Hopefully this is a new start for me and it has given a confidence boost.
They then asked me to design something, in the same style, to go on water bottles which will be sold in the library too.
